Build & Release Engineer (New York, Philadelphia, Berkeley, Remote)

What We Need:

 As a Build & Release Engineer on the roundCorner development team, you will be responsible for the build and release lifecycle that includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various Portfolios. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, Projects and Programs. Where necessary you’ll provide tools and services to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production. You will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes for the progression of code in the development, test, and production environments. The Release Manager Job function works collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments. This position also works with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments. To be successful, the candidate must be an adaptable, team player who can work in a dynamic environment. They must be able to take initiative in order to deliver the exceptional products and services that are the hallmarks of roundCause. The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.
  • Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
  • Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs.
  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
  • Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans. Weekly Release Reporting.
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the business as required.
  • Work with developers to understand impacts of branches and code merges.
  • Continually work to achieve improvements in the release process.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1-3 years of Salesforce.com developer, administrator and/or user experience.
  • 1-3 years of Build & Release experience.
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, efficient, organized, and resourceful.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic mid-stage startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Software development expertise and working knowledge of one or more languages is a huge plus, but not required: BASH, Apex, Visualforce, Java, C++, PHP, SQL, PL/SQL, .NET, SOAP, AJAX, C, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Flex, AIR

Campaign Consultant, Managed Services (Villanova, New York, Boston or Remote)

What We Need:

roundCorner is seeking an experienced Campaign Consultant who will work closely with high profile clients and agencies to execute campaign strategy for Managed Services Clients. Looking for someone with campaign and SQL experience and marketing knowledge in NGO/HED context.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with high profile clients and agencies to execute campaign strategy for MS Clients with the assistance of account resources
  • Re-write and improve scripts that support ongoing business needs as clients migrate to a new CRM and new data structure
  • Perform campaign segmentation for accurate, on-time file delivery
  • Verify, troubleshoot and thoroughly QC results of all campaigns
  • Attend/organize regular internal and external client meetings to manage campaign schedule and status report
  • Provide support for segmentation and data analysis questions from clients
  • Create and update client-specific documentation
  • Participate in periodic client reviews
  • Recommend best practices to clients

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of campaign experience
  • Advanced knowledge of fundraising/direct mail and data analysis
  • Strong marketing knowledge in NGO/HED context
  • SQL and database experience required
  • Experience working with large data volumes preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and complex client environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and group communication skills
  • Experience in or passion for the non-profit and/or higher education market
  • Professional, team oriented with confident personality and a can-do attitude
  • Strong focus on customer success
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues
