Best Foot Forward
In February 2017, Advancement Connect celebrated its second anniversary! We are pleased to have replaced “legacy systems” that include Raiser’s Edge, Banner, Colleague and Advance. Throughout the implementation experience, customers and implementation partners often asked roundCorner, “Do you have any best practices recommendations?” Certainly, with over a dozen completed Advancement Connect implementations in the past two years, we have gained tremendous experience and knowledge.
As a result, roundCorner’s Services organization has produced a set of Best Practices documentation to guide our Higher Education customers. In short, Best Practices provides clear directions on how to optimize functions in Advancement Connect. The best approach to a function, process, or area of the Advancement Connect system is made clear with context. A collection of topical documents, Best Practices guides Advancement Connect users through key decision points and presents crucial questions for consideration as well. Topics include: Accounts and Contacts, Campaigns, Householding, Preferences, Prospect Management, Relationships, Salutations, Scholarship Management, Teams and VSE.
roundCorner announced the availability of these assets to our customers in March. Furthermore, we look forward to adding new topics in the future. Customers and partners can find Best Practices here, and may contact us for access.
