Maddie's Fund

In an effort to support those affected by Hurricane Michael, foundationConnect customer Maddie’s Fund, a national family foundation established by Dave & Cheryl Duffield to revolutionize the status and well-being of companion animals, created a new public group in Maddie’s Pet Forum called Hurricane Michael Information. The unprecedented Category 4 storm on the Florida Panhandle has made landfall with a life-threatening storm surge with over 100 mph winds.

The group has been set up for people, organizations and animals affected by or giving relief for Hurricane Michael. We encourage you to join the group if you have been affected or can provide support.

Please also share the link to the Hurricane Michael Information group with others who may be affected or are on the front lines working to help save animals’ lives.

Join the group here and share this link with your network:

Maddie’s® Pet Forum is a digital forum for pet caregivers with conversations 24/7 for pet caregivers on all types of topics such as adoption, foster care, nutrition, training,  behavior and more.

About Maddie’s Fund

Maddie’s Fund is a family foundation created in 1994 by Workday® co-founder Dave Duffield and his wife, Cheryl, who have endowed the Foundation with more than $300 million. Since then, the Foundation has awarded more than $208.9 million in grants toward increased community lifesaving, shelter medicine education, and pet adoptions across the U.S. The Duffields named Maddie’s Fund after their Miniature Schnauzer Maddie, who always made them laugh and gave them much joy. Maddie was with Dave and Cheryl for ten years and continues to inspire them today.

Maddie’s Fund is the fulfillment of a promise to an inspirational dog, investing its resources to create a no-kill nation where every dog and cat is guaranteed a healthy home or habitat. #ThanksToMaddie.
