Salesforce for grants management

By roundCorner

Villanova, Pa – May 15, 2017 – Today, foundationConnect celebrates its three-year anniversary as part of roundCorner’s product family. Originally developed by NPower, foundationConnect enables foundations to leverage Salesforce for grants management with a best-in-class solution. As a result, foundations have the tools to focus more on mission and less on administration, transforming philanthropic giving.

The acquisition in 2014 enabled roundCorner to extend its leading role in supporting nonprofits with innovative, cloud-based solutions alongside NGO Connect and Advancement Connect. To enable customers to become even more successful with foundationConnect, roundCorner increased development capacity three-fold. In addition, the team delivers three major releases each year.

As of May 2017, over 100 grantmaking foundations use foundationConnect to award over $3 Billion in annual grants to grantees in 130+ countries.

Dana Wellhausen, Director of Grants and Evaluation at the Rogers Family Foundation, says, “I could not imagine managing grants any other way. Using foundationConnect and Salesforce for grants management, we created a personalized approach to managing a portfolio of grants. Most of all, we moved away from the one-size-fits-all mindset.”

In a survey, conducted for the 2016 Idealware Consumers Guide to Grants Management Systems, 90 percent of respondents said they recommend foundationConnect to other foundations. Dana Jensen, Program Officer and Operations Manager at Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation, says, “We implemented foundationConnect and never looked back. I worked with competing solutions at previous jobs, and I can’t stress what a better product foundationConnect is.”

roundCorner continues to deliver product enhancements based on customer feedback, enabling foundations to even better leverage Salesforce for grants management. Finally, at least 20 foundations plan to launch foundationConnect this year.
